He wants to learn your individual stories, so here’s a little about him and My Insured Choice.
Growing up in small town America, I was taught the importance of dedicating to hard work at an early age. I was raised in California and dove into a lot of adventure as a youngster while being active in a number of sports and activities, as well. We took part in a lot of outdoor activities like fishing and boating. In all sports, I was one of those kids that always wanted the ball, but baseball became my passion. I played through numerous levels, from youth leagues to Little League to playing in high school and adult leagues as I got older.
I graduated from high school in Quartz Hill, California, and shortly after met the love of my life. My incredible wife Tammy and I have been married for more than 35 years, and I’m so lucky I can’t wait for the next 35 years.
My career has taken me from California to Colorado, and then back to California before another stop in Colorado. Family is of vital importance to me, and we have a close-knit relationship with our son and his lovely wife. Now we live in Texas to be closer to my son and daughter-in-law, and it’s that focus on family that has led me to My Insured Choice.
After spending most of my life in the world of automobile sales – spending 35 years in the car business. Half of that was spent working with car dealerships, and the other half was spent working with auto brokerages. I brought the philosophy of treating people the way I’d like to be treated, and that has served me well throughout my career. Now I bring that same desire to help people and focus on service to my own Medicare Health Plan brokerage firm.
To me, every handshake counts. By focusing on providing transparent help to seniors as they navigate their health insurance options, I can ensure that they’re getting the right coverage for their specific situation. This is a completely different realm than my familiar world of cars, but one thing hasn’t changed – and that’s how people wanted to be treated.
I saw a need for help in this space, and made the choice to deliver a different option. My Insured Choice is built on the same principles that made me effective in the automotive industry. My industry may have changed, but my dedication remains to providing people with all of the knowledge to make an informed decision about something as crucial as healthcare.
